Looking forward to compare the book to the movie. Note: the book Volvo is the S60 R. The Movie Volvo is the C30 2-door T5 1.0 For those twilight car buffs.
Omg I had been waiting to see one of these cars in my street or as i was out and about..i had no luck for 4 months then...all of a sudden...4 came past me all at once and then i went past a garage in canterbury with a couple in !
i think volvo's are retarded and i'm a car NUT i love everything about cars except their ugly duckling brother...the volvo, like if i were edward i'd be runnin' the 1971 plymouth hemi barracuda goes at least 12X faster then a volvo and kicks more ass for sure! http://image.hotrod.com/f/9278671/113_0708_08_z+1971_plymouth_cuda+rear_view.jpg yeah! a real VAMP CAR!!!
Im a car nut too, the volvo is alright, but I think the whole point is to remain inconspicuous, if i didn't care then i would just drive my aston around all day. So the volvo does it's job and the s60r isn't that bad looking but im not so sure about the c30 it is a tad ugly. I think volvo worked well because its not a crappy honda or something, its not ostentatious like a beamer or a mercedes and it has good power, I can't think of anything else that fits that category.
